CND Competition Rods
Gravity Competition Rods are the result of ongoing rod design development at CND. Designed and used by some of the best tournament casters in the world today, they are the result of uncompromising standards and the relentless pursuit of next level performance.
CND uses the same advanced Nano Pitch material in these competition rods that is found across the Gravity range, utilizing thinner carbon layers than previous technologies could allow. This material produces lighter, more responsive rods with reduced blank diameters. This reduction in blank weight and diameter allows casters to achieve greater rotational speed resulting in longer casts. Since Nano Pitch carbon fibres are thinner, more layers of material can be applied at different angles to give extra stability in CND rod blanks resulting in surprising amounts of power.
Gravity C1 Competition Rod
-
From the bloodline of the legendary F1 comes the Gravity C1. Incredible lifting power, recovery, and lightness make the C1 one of the most powerful rods produced for competiton today.
Gravity C2 Competition Rod
-
The Gravity C2 is the fuller flexing of the the two C series competition rods. Despite its deeper bending characteristics the C2 retains all the power and line speed needed for world class distance casts.
Gravity 18’ Competition Rod
-
The Gravity 18’ Competition rod is the longest rod in the competition range. Despite its length CND’s nano pitch technology makes significant reductions in weight and blank diameter making the 18 Gravity surprisingly easy to handle.
